Public NoticeADJUSTMENT IN OUR OUR FEES We want to thank you for choosing Arrowhead Medical Centre for your family’s healthcare needs for another financial year. We have not increased our fees in the past 2 years despite the ever-increasing cost of goods and services. Due to these increasing costs and inflationary pressures, we find it necessary to adjust our fees by a 6.7% increase from the 15th of July. | QUICKCONSULT “QuickConsult” is now available in our centre. Quick Consult enables anyone who has a medical record in our Medical Centre and is an active patient, to request a repeat prescription of their medications or repeat referral to their specialist without seeing the doctor. Access to Quick consult is via HotDoc/Booking or the Appointment link on our website. Quick Consult is quick and convenient but does not attract any Medicare rebate and the patient pays for the service privately. |
All consultations in our centre has transitioned to mixed billing, which will see some patients fully bulk billed while the rest will be billed privately. Those who pay privately will get Medicare rebate if they have Medicare cards.
The following patients will be bulk billed at all opening hours every day, including weekend and Public holidays:
(a). Children 16 yrs. of age and under
(b). Concession card holders, healthcare card holders, veterans and pensioners. Your card must be valid and presented in person on your visit or emailed through prior to your phone consultation as there will be no refund if produced at a later date after billing has already been processed. Failure to provide/present your valid card means you will be billed as a private patient for your consultation.
We are a mixed billing clinic. This means that we bulk-bill children 16 years of age and under who hold Medicare card, DVA, health care card and pension card. Every other patient is billed privately.
Your card must be valid and presented in person on your visit or emailed through prior to your phone consultation. Failure to present your valid card means you will pay private fee (no refund after) for

Please Note:
1. We would like to advise that, unfortunately it has been necessary to update the terms and conditions of our Late Cancellation Policy or No Show Policy. The new policy is as follows: To avoid a Late cancellation or No Show fee, Arrowhead medical centre must receive notice of the cancellation ( of each appointment) at least 2 hrs. prior to the scheduled appointment. Failing to do so will incur a fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) cancellation fee. An SMS reminder will be sent as a courtesy, but it is the clients responsibility to keep track of their scheduled appointments. Your Non-response to the SMS reminder does not count as notice of cancellation. In this case, the cancellation fee will apply. Should you cancel and or fail to attend more than 2 consecutive appointments without discussion with, and the agreement of your doctor/reception staff, Arrowhead Medical Centre reserves the right to refuse you further appointments in the clinic. In that case, you will only be seen as a walk-in, which may mean that you may endure a long wait before being seen, at best or not being seen at all. When you cancel early, the spot can be offered to another patient on the waitlist. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this regard.
2. Your credit or direct debit card may incur a surcharge of 0.15-0.79% of the transaction amount to the card issuer/your bank for making your payment possible. The surcharge amount depends on the type of card or issuer/bank.
